Just had a great interview on the Bob and Sheri radio show out of Charlotte that is syndicated in over 50 cities and towns. Bob and Sheri were terrific, and it was a lot of fun to talk with them about my book and about raising boys (and also living with husbands). I’m teaching writing classes in schools for the next few weeks and also have some upcoming book readings:
January 31st, 7:00 Cary Public Library, downtown Cary, NC
Feb. 8th, 7:00, Park Road Books, Charlotte, NC
Feb. 12, 7:00, Eva Perry Library, Apex, NC
Feb. 16th, 7:00, Barnes & Noble, Fayetteville, NC
I have some ‘boy’ stories to share with you but no time to type them now. I’ll post again soon!!
Take care and hang in there,
Hi Moms of Boys!!
Happy 2007! I wish you all health, safety, and happiness for the new year! Can’t ask for much more than that.
I hope you all have made that tough transition from the holidays back to the ‘normal’ routine.
This year we had an artificial tree for the first time, and I found out one drawback: there is no incentive to take it down. There are no needles falling on the floor, you don’t have to water it — so you procrastinate about taking it down. You even start thinking about pushing it over in a corner and leaving it up until next year. Much less work, but it, of course, takes away the meaning. We finally got it down and put all the decorations up just yesterday! We’ve all been really busy.
