Momsofboys.org began when Sharon O'Donnell wrote columns about being a mom of boys in her local newspaper in Cary, NC and received an overwhelming response from other moms of boys.  She realized that she was not the only mom trying to survive in a household of all males, so she started this site as a way for moms of boys to exchange ideas, find information, and yes, to sometimes vent.
