Hi Moms of Boys!!
Happy 2007! I wish you all health, safety, and happiness for the new year! Can’t ask for much more than that.
I hope you all have made that tough transition from the holidays back to the ‘normal’ routine.
This year we had an artificial tree for the first time, and I found out
one drawback: there is no incentive to take it down. There are no
needles falling on the floor, you don’t have to water it — so you
procrastinate about taking it down. You even start thinking about
pushing it over in a corner and leaving it up until next year. Much
less work, but it, of course, takes away the meaning. We finally got it
down and put all the decorations up just yesterday! We’ve all been
really busy.
My book reading/signing at the Barnes & Noble in Cary went well.
One lady bought six for her moms of boys friends!! My next two book
readings will be at the Cary Public library in Cary, NC on Jan. 31st at
7:00 p.m. and at the Eva Perry Library in Apex, NC on Feb. 12th at 7:00
p.m.
As of now nothing else is scheduled. I will be concentrating on doing
some radio interviews. If you think the ‘living in a house of
testosterone’ would be an interesting, funny topic for your local radio
station, then please forward the radio station (esp. the morning show)
the website and book information. My book, House of Testosterone — One
Mom’s Surivival in a Household of Males, is now available at your local
bookstore or via the Internet on Amazon.com, Booksense.com, and
BarnesandNoble.com - Buy it NOW while supplies are still out there!!!
Book Sense named it a “Notable” book for January!!
Take care and hang in there,
Sharon
