This looks like such a great group; I'm excited to join!
I am the mother of 2 sons... one is 24 years old and the other is 9 years old! I have had the unusual blessing of raising 2 "only" sons and basically having 2 lives! The older son was my nephew; I adopted him at the age of 3 when my sister passed away... I was only 25 and single! It was just the two of us for 10 years until I (finally!) married at 35! My husband and I both adopted him. Then at 37 I had a son! I became a stay-at-home mom and still am 9 years later. So I've had the mixed blessing of being a very young mom of 1 son and now an older mom of 1 son. We are a happy family and life is good. Anyone else have a similar experience? I have one college graduate and a third grader! Hugs!
